2022 Women's Amateur Championship
Wanumetonomy G&CC - July 25-29, 2022
 

Eligibility:  Amateur golfers who have an active RIGA/GHIN handicap and are RIGA Members or are a Rhode Island resident.
 
Tournament Format:
July 25-29, 2022 -  Wanumetonomy G&CC
Qualifying Round: 18 holes - Stroke play to determine match play qualifiers. Gross Scores used for seeding for the Championship and Net Divisions

In the event of a tie for the 16th place, there will be a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of the Qualifying Round.

 

*You will be asked if you want to participate in the: Championship Gross Division or Net Championship Division during the registration process.

Monday, July 25 - 18 holes Stroke Play - carts and lunch included on Day One (only) - 7:00am shotgun

Tuesday, July 26- Match Play - Round of 16 - Tee Times beginning at 12:30
Wednesday, July 27- Match Play - Quarterfinals - Tee times beginning at 7:00am

Thursday, July 28- Match Play - Semifinals - Tee Times beginning at 7:00am

Friday, July 29 - Match Play - Finals - Tee Times beginning at 7:00am

 

Qualifying round scores will be posted as a "T" score by the RIGA.

Handicaps used will be July 25, 2022 for Net Divisions.
 
Entries - Form, Fee, Closing Date:  Entrants are solely responsible for securing and returning completed entry form by the due date. Entries must be received at the RIGA office by July 17, 2022 and be accompanied by the entry fee of $80.00.
 
You may enter online using a credit card at www.rigalinks.org up until the entry deadline.  
 
Cart and Caddie policy: Carts are permissible during play.  An entrant is responsible to pay for their own cart fee throughout the tournament. A player may take a caddie or carry their own bag at any stage of the competition.

 

Dress Code: Proper dress is required at all times. Spikeless shoes are mandatory.
 

Conditions/Schedules: The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.

 

Important: Entries must be received by July 17, 2022. Completed entry form must be accompanied by entry fee of $80.00 (Made payable to RIGA). If you withdraw from an event before the registration closes there will be a $5 transaction fee. If you withdraw from an event after the registration closes, there will be no refunds given. You may find a substitution and work out payment between each other. No Faxed Entries
