Memorandum to Contestants

Thank you for entering the 2022 State Amateur Championship. We welcome you as a contestant and trust your experience playing in an event conducted by the Wyoming State Golf Association will be enjoyable and one you will always remember.

 

The following information will help answer questions and explain many details before arriving in Buffalo.  Please keep this memorandum for reference.

Friday, June 24	7am 8:00 – 9:30am 12:00 – 1:20pm	Practice Areas Open Women’s Flights – Men’s 3rd & 4th Flight Men’s Championship, 1st & 2nd Flights
Saturday, June 25	7am 8:00 – 9:20am 12:00 – 1:30pm	Practice Areas Open Men’s Championship, 1st & 2nd Flights Women’s Flights – Men’s 3rd & 4th Flight
Sunday, June 26	7am 8:00 – 9:30am 12:00 – 1:20pm	Practice Areas Open Women’s Flights – Men’s 3rd & 4th Flight Men’s Championship, 1st & 2nd Flights

Practice Rounds

If desired, those entered may contact Buffalo Golf Club to arrange a practice round.  Practice rounds are complimentary for registered competitors only.

 

 

 

 

 

Format Stroke Play – 54 Holes

Players will be placed in Flights based on Handicap index on the June 21st revision. 

The lowest 54 Hole Score will be the 2022 Men and Women State Champions.

 

Handicaps will be based on the June 21st Revision

 

Personal Effects

Please take care of your valuables.  Neither the Buffalo Golf club nor the WSGA can assume responsibility for articles lost or stolen.

 

Dress Code

All players must comply with the club dress code:  Collared shirt, blouse w/collar or sleeves, Bermuda length shorts.  NO Denim, T-Shirts, Cut-offs or Athletic Shorts.  Alternative Spikes are required.

 

Caddies and Carts

Must be taken care of in the golf shop before any play will be allowed.

 

Starting Times

It is your responsibility to be at the starting tee early.  An official clock will be present on the first and tenth tees with unofficial clocks in the practice area.
