Monday, June 13th -- First round (18 holes) - 8:00 am #1 and #10, 12:30 pm #1 and #10
Tuesday, June 14th -- Second round (18 holes) - 8:00 am #1 and #10, 12:30 pm #1 and #10  (CUT MADE)
Wednesday, June 15th -- Third round (18 holes) - 8:00 am #1 and #10


Players Lunch
This year players will not be provided lunch on the first two days of competition. The club will be open for food and drinks as well as many options nearby to eat at offsite.

Practice Round
This year there is not a designated practice round on the first day before competition. Players will be able to go online and schedule their practice round in the weeks leading up to the event on a day that best suits them and the club has tee times available. Please plan accordingly as this is a big change from previous years. It is up to the player to schedule their practice round on their own accord. A practice round is not guaranteed.

Eligibility
Male and female junior amateurs with an active GHIN number with Central Links Golf member club.  

National Recognition

This event has AJGA PBERS Status and is also recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboard and WAGR.       

         

 

Entry Fee and Deadline
$120.  Deadline for entry is Monday, June 6th at 11:59 pm.

Format
54 holes of individual stroke play within five age divisions for boys.  54 holes of individual stroke play within one age division for girls.  Following 36 holes there will be a cut to the low 15 and ties in each age division.  Overall Champion to be determined (boys and girls).  The event may be shortened to 36 holes if weather cancels either round.  Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each age division (boys and girls).

Boys Divisions
Five Boys age divisions:

  • 14 & Under
  • 15 age
  • 16 age
  • 17 age
  • 18 age

 

Girls Divisions
One Girls age divisions:

  • All Girls

 

Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:

  • 6600 yards (Boys)
  • 5700 yards (Girls)

 

Defending Champions
In 2021 at Smoky Hill CC, Overland Park's Ryan Lee captured the Boys Junior Amateur Championship while Gianna Clemente from Ohio was victorious in the Girls Junior Amateur Championship.

Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are not allowed for junior events sponsored by Central Links Golf.  Spectator carts may be available at the discretion and price determined by the host club.  Caddies are not allowed for this championship.

Registration
Registration is required for this championship. Please check in at the Registration table before you tee off on the first day of competition. Players will be asked to sign a Player Scroll as a gift for the host club.  

Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
