Eligibility

Open to female amateur golfers aged 19 or younger and have not yet enrolled in college. An active handicap index is required with a Central Links Golf member club.

 

National Recognition

This event has AJGA PBERS Status and is recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboard.

  

 

Format

Two-day stroke play competition - 36 holes.

 

Prizes

The Champion of the event will receive a glass trophy as well as retain the perpetual traveling trophy for one year. The Champion is responsible for making arrangements to return the trophy to CLG before the event the following year. The Runner-Up will receive a glass trophy.

 

Ties

A hole-by-hole on-course playoff will be used in the event of a tie for first place overall gross.

  

Entries & Fees

Entries open on March 2, 2022 at 10:00am.  The entry fee is $75 per player. The entry fee includes a player gift, two rounds of golf, practice round and prizes.

  

Entries close at 11:00 p.m. Central Time on July 31st.  

    

Schedule

Thursday, August 4th - Practice Round
Friday, August 5th - Approx. 8:00 a.m. start time for first 18 holes
Saturday, August 6th - Approx. 8:00 a.m. start time for second and final 18 holes. Awards to follow competition.

       

Rules of Golf, Competition is Final

Play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA.  Questions will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. The competition is final when the Championship trophy has been presented.  

  

Equipment

All golf balls and clubs must conform to USGA specifications.  Any unusual equipment or devices, such as gloves, unusual tees, alignment aids, braces, and the like are prohibited by The Rules of Golf.  

 

Dress Code

Proper golf attire is required.  Jeans, halter tops, tank tops, and athletic t-shirts are not permitted. Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.  

    

Registration

On-site registration will not be required.  Please arrive at your starting tee 10 minutes prior to your starting time to receive instructions. 

  

Practice Round & Practice Privileges  

Practice rounds are permitted and included in the tournament fee. Please contact Emporia Golf Course to schedule your practice round.
