2022 GLT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

 

 

The Ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic is still threatening and being observed daily and the GLT will adhere to any and all protocols or recommendations that are put into place by our Government officials and Governing Bodies of golf including Golf Canada, Golf Ontario and the PGA of Canada.  GLT Officials have the right to implement any rules regarding COVID-19 that arise throughout the season and will communicate any changes to registrants ahead of events.

 

The Following will be in effect for the 2022 season: 

 

  • VACCINATION PASSPORT - A vaccination passport IS NOT required to compete on the GLT, however host facilities may require proof of vaccination to enter the clubhouse, dining areas or locker rooms. 
  • MASKS - Please ensure you have a mask at all times.  Masks may be required to enter the clubhouse, dining areas, locker rooms and designated scoring areas for the event.
  • SPECTATORS - Are permitted and must adhere to all protocols in place by both the host facility and the GLT
  • CADDIES - Are permitted and must adhere to all protocols in place by both the host facility and the GLT 
  • SYMPTOMS - If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 prior to an event and show negative test results (Rapid Test Accepted) the player shall be permitted to play.  If the test is positive the player will receive a full refund providing the player has not started his first round. If symptoms arise during the event, a player may take a rapid test.  If the test is positive, the player must withdraw immediately without refund.  The GLT may issue future tournament credit so long as correct steps and actions were taken by the player.
  • PHYSICAL DISTANCING - Physical distancing is still recommended to further reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
