2022 Barbasol Championship Pre-Qualifier
Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at Cherry Blossom Golf Club
The Barbasol Championship Pre-Qualifier will be contested Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at Cherry Blossom Golf Club (Georgetown, KY). The format will be 18-holes of stroke play with the low 40 scores plus ties advancing to the Open Qualifier. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 24th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
All amateur and professional applicants must pre-qualify, except the following competitors who are exempt from pre-qualifying:
- 2021-2022 season PGA TOUR member
- Current Korn Ferry Tour members
- Current PGA Tour Champions Tour Regular Members
- Three (3) exemptions from the local PGA Section
- Former PGA Tour Members 2018-2021
- Players making a cut on the PGA Tour in 2021-2022 season
- Players in the top 100 on the World Golf Rankings as of the non-member entry deadline.
- Players in the PGA Tour event immediately preceding the Open Qualifier
The 2022 Barbasol Championship Pre-Qualifier will be played under the 2022 PGA Tour Hard Card. Players are encouraged to review the 2022 PGA Tour Hard Card before entering the Pre-Qualifier to ensure they will be able to conform to the PGA Tour Hardcard for both the Pre Qualifier on June 30th, 2022 and Open Qualifier on Monday, July 4, 2022.
Note: Successful Pre-Qualifying Professionals and Amateurs will be required to pay an additional $250 entry fee prior to teeing off in the Open Qualifying. A $100 fee will be required for current members of PGA TOUR Canada, PGA TOUR Latinoamérica.
