2022 CGA Women's Brassie Championship

Championship Dates: Wednesday, August 24 - Thursday, August 25

 

Registration Window: June 13 - August 16

 

Entry Fee: $400 per team

 

Field Size: 60 teams (120 players) 

Note: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a Championship is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.

 

Estimated Yardage (Par 72):

Championship Flight: 5,700 - 5,900 

All other Flights: 5,300 - 5,500 

 

Format: 4-Ball stroke play – Two competitors play as partners, each playing her own ball. The lower of the partner’s scores is the team score for the hole. Teams are pre-flighted according to combined playing handicap with approximately 8 teams per flight.

 

Handicap Index Details: 30.0. maximum.  

Note: It is recommended that the partners play within eight strokes of each other. If the difference between the two Playing Hanidcaps is greater than 8, the higher Playing Handicap will be reduced accordingly. All players will compete at 85% of handicap.

Starting Times: Shotgun start at 8:00am

 

Cart/Caddies: Carts optional, included in entry. One cart per team. Caddies are not allowed.

 

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross and net finishes within each flight. Ties for low gross in the championship flight are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff. The winning team of the championship flight will also receive a trophy. For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied teams.
