Series Information

 

Series & Tournaments

Event Entry

• As a member of the junior series each player is automatically entered every event in the series
• Should you be unable to attend an event please ensure that this is communicated to the organization in advance of the tournament day so other juniors may have the opportunity to compete

Tournament Days

• On the day of each event, all players are requested to do the following
  • Register at the Academy prior to the start to collect Scorecard & Rules Sheet
  • Be present at the Academy for 8.45am to attend the tournament briefing sharing essential information for the day's play
  • All players will be required to reach there starting hole by 9.00am (starting hole will be on official draw sheet and/or scorecard)
  • Once your group is full and all players have arrived you may commence play
  • Remember to swap scorecards with your playing partners

 

 

Conditions of Practice Entitlement

• Players are entitled to 1 courtesy practice round each month in the week prior to the event
  • All players are required check into the main reception desk to register their practice round
  • If additional practice rounds are desired players may pay the appropriate green-fee of 45 AED at the Main Golf Club Reception Desk
• Players are entitled to courtesy warm-up practice on the day of each event prior to play commencing

 

Player Conduct

In the spirit of the series and the game of golf, all players should ensure they conduct themselves in accordance with the rules and etiquette of the game at all times, showing respect for their playing partners, the course and the host club.

Players should respect the rules of the Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Academy whilst setting an example for those around them as part of the Junior Series

 

Parent Conduct

• Parents are encouraged to spectate provided they adhere to the following rules :
  • A 20 meter Rule should be adhered to at all times
    • Parents should ensure they do not enter the field of play and adhere to 20-meter distance during regular course of play
  • No technical advice may be given during the regular course of play
    • Such as Club Selection, Shot selection, Coaching of any kind
  • Official scorecards cannot be marked or held in any way by Parents
• Parents are not permitted to act as caddies with the exception of the following
  • For Children in the Under 11's section assistance may be given from tee to green if required
