REGISTRATION

Registrations are taken in order of receipt at the PGA of America National Office through www.pga.org.  There is a 7-day registration deadline for every PAT.  The registration fee, paid at the time of registration is $100.00 for each PAT and the registrant is responsible for all additional on-site fees.

ON-SITE FEE

PAT competitors will need to pay the $85.00 on-site fee when arriving at the course.  This fee includes 36-holes with a cart and use of the practice facilities the day of the event, as well as a lunch.

 

DRESS CODE

Female participants may wear slacks, culottes, walking shorts or golf skirts/dresses, which constitute acceptable clothing worn by women in connection with participation in professional golf tournaments. Denim is prohibited.

 

Male participants must wear slacks and participants shall not wear shorts anywhere on club property, unless allowed by the hosting Section.  In Sections which allow male participants to wear shorts, males may wear slacks or golf shorts which are professional looking in appearance. Denim is prohibited.  The North Florida PGA allows participants to wear shorts.

 

GOLF CAR

Contestant's clubs must be transported on a golf car; no more than two cars per grouping.  Only players may ride in a golf car.

 

CADDIES

Caddies are allowed, however they must walk at all times.

 

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES

Electronic Distance Measuring Devices ARE allowed, however such devices must NOT be equipped with slope detection even if the function is shut off; cellular phones are not permitted.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Practice rounds will be available for a $30.00+ tax fee. Practice rounds are available one week prior to the PAT.  Please call the Golf Shop (941-253-2901) for more information on practice round availibilty.

 

PAIRINGS

Players will receive an email following the registration deadline containing pairings and all additional information. Players must present a picture ID to the examiner upon arrival at the PAT site in order to be eligible to take the exam.
