Eligibility:
- Two women teams
- Amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf Membership with a Handicap Index® not exceeding 54.0.0 (as determined by the Handicap Revision on the date of entry)
- Players with a Handicap Index of higher than 36.0 will be limited to a 36.0 Playing Handicap
Entry Procedures: Entries and fully paid entry fees must be received through the Mass Golf Online Entry process by 5:00pm EST on the published entry deadline.
Field: Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. After the field is full a waitlist will automatically start.
Format: 18 holes of Four-Ball stroke play (commonly known as two-person Best Ball) Each player plays her own ball and the side’s score for a hole is the lower gross score of the two partners. Gross and Net Divisions
Handicaps: All golfers will play to 85% of their Playing Handicap™. Indexes computed on October 21, 2022.
Tees: Mass Golf Red Tees.
Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Cart fee is included in entry fee. Caddies and pull carts (at the host club(s) discretion) are permitted.
Food & Beverage: Mass Golf will be providing a complimentary lunch for all competitors.
Starting Time: Shotgun start at 9:00 AM.
Awards: Trophy engraved with names of gross winners. Ties honored for first place gross only. All other ties will be decided by matching cards in accordance with USGA® recommended method. Prize certificates to be used at host club.
Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds are available at Shining Rock Golf Club.
Rules of Golf: The USGA® Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competitions for Mass Golf Tournaments govern all play.
Mass Golf Policies & Procedures: Please refer to Policies & Procedures and Pace of Play Policy.
Distance-Measuring Devices: Permitted as specified in Mass Golf Championship Policies & Procedures.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy: Competitors who have submitted an entry for a Mass Golf event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the Mass Golf office (email preferred). Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if Mass Golf is notified seven (7) days prior to the event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event.
