2022 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifying - Oak Hill CC

Please Note: Oak Hill CC is a private facility. As guests of Oak Hill, please follow all posted signage, club policies, and directions from staff/membership of the club. 

 


 

Practice Rounds: A practice round may be scheduled by calling the Oak Hill CC Pro Shop and identifying yourself as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds available for competitors only and each player is limited to one practice round subject to Oak Hill CC availability. Mass Golf and the USGA requests that each player play only one ball at each hole during the practice round. 

 

There will be no practice rounds available the weekend prior (June 25 + June 26) to the qualifier. Players may walk the course (no clubs) on Sunday, June 26th after 4:00pm.

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 7:30am off the 1st & 10th tees. When available, players can access starting times by clicking the "Starting Times" tab above. 

 

Withdrawals:  Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 5 Qualifying Spot(s) and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the 2022 U.S. Junior Amateur at Bandon Dunes (Bandon, OR)
 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted during the player's round. Pull/push carts will be permitted.

 

Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart. Club caddies are not available through the Oak Hill CC Pro Shop. EXCEPTION: A player must not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during Qualifying or the Championship proper. Please note, this is a USGA policy, and any questions or concerns about this policy should be directed to the USGA Championship staff. 

 

Golf Ball:  The One-Ball Rule will be in effect.  See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: Competition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Play will be approximately from the Black Tee yardage - 6,600 yards (Par 70). 

 

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The golf shop and driving range will be open at 6:30am. 

 

Food & Beverage: Further details regarding F&B will be provided at a later date. 

 

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application. 

 

*Please also review the 2022 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labeled "USGA Policies" prior to competition.

 

*There will be no registration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to receive local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
