Eligibility: All players must be individual members of ASGA and full-time residents of the state of Arkansas. Non-residents are not eligible, with the following exception: a person may live across the state line, such as Texarkana, Texas, but must be a member of the Texarkana Country Club and an individual ASGA member. The minimum age is 16 unless approved by the ASGA Women’s Committee.
Format: Participants will play an 18-hole qualifying round on Tuesday, July 12th. The round for the qualifying will be one 18-hole round and in the event of inclement weather, the qualifying score could be a 9-hole score. If field size allows, the top eight (8) qualifiers in each division will comprise the Championship Flight of that division. The next eight (8) will comprise the First Flight and so on. To be eligible to compete for an Arkansas Women’s Match Play Title the player must be in that respective ‘Championship” Flight.
Tees: Championship: Will play from the Lost Springs WHITE TEES / SIMMONS BANK WHITE Approximately 6000 yards. Mid-Am and Seniors: Will play from the Lost Spring GOLD TEES / SIMMONS BANK GOLD 5600 yards. Super Seniors and Masters: Will play from the Lost Springs RED TEES / SIMMONS BANK RED 5200 yards.
Entry Fee: The entry fee of $200 per player includes cart fees for all tournament rounds, range balls each day, boxed lunch after the qualifying round will be provided. Following the first round of matches there will be a consolation bracket for all divisions where field size allows.
Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Players may submit entry forms via mail or online at www.asga.org with a credit card.
Schedule/Starting Times:
Tuesday, July 12th – 8:00 AM tee times for the qualifying round (all respective match play brackets will be determined based on the qualifying round). Lunch will be provided after the conclusion of play. Contestants will be emailed tee times/pairings for Wednesday’s matches.
Wednesday, July 13th – First round matches for all brackets Tee times will begin at 8:00 am. Winners will advance in their bracket and based on field size consolation brackets will be made for the following day as well. Contestants will be emailed tee times/pairings for Thursday’s matches. Lunch will be provided after play.
Thursday, July 14th – Semi-final matches and Consultation bracket matches (Winners will advance to the finals of each flight played and will play on Friday. Losers will be eliminated) Tee times will begin at 8:00 am. Contestants will be emailed tee times/pairings for Friday’s matches. Lunch will be provided after play.
Friday, July 15th – Final matches. Tee times will begin at 8:00 am.
Gift Certificates/Awards: Lost Springs gift certificates will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers in each winner’s bracket as well as 1st and 2nd place in each consolation bracket. Qualifying medalists in all divisions will receive an award.
