  1. Superintendent Update – Delmar Israel
    • Golf Course Maintenance Updates
      1. Fairways and Greens remain in great shape
      2. Treatment for weeds is underway, much dead Dallisgrass and crabgrass is evident
      3. Some sod application on the damaged green on #25 has been completed and continual green sand fertilizer combination is in progress to try to restore green
      4. Great headway has been made in repairing the automated irrigation system on the course
      5. Bridge repair on #26 is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday 6/25 – padded runner to be looked into
      6. Request from Committee to trim trees by #16 green and #12 fairway, and mow and roll greens on 1-27 for MGA Tournament on 7/27
      7. SMGA requested making sure tee markers are properly replace on Wednesday mornings following an outside event on Tuesday
    • Superintendent status
      1. New supervisor has been hired and will start on July 15th
      2. Tony Leblang is coming from the Dallas Country Club with experience at Preston Trail. Ridgewood CC, and Kakeway GC.

      2. Discussed upcoming 2 man Tri Play scheduled for 7/27

      1. Discussed sending out communication in August to members outlining highlights of new rules for 2019 prior to Club Championships
    • Board of Governors Meeting notes – Bob Karlowicz
      1. Discussed “Dye Experience” (Timeline 6-8 weeks)
        1. Staff Updates at Dye Pro Shop
        2. Staff Updates on cart staffs
        3. Membership Updates – No Dye only Golf memberships or Dye Legends to be available
        4. Grill Changes – No children after 6pm, more “true dining experience will be the focus in Dining areas
      2. Discussed the Charity Classic Tennis Event in June was very successful
      3. Discussed Membership headcount is positive for the year
  2. Pro Shop Update
    • Discussed hiring of new Assistant Brie Pais who has already completed her PAT
  3. Round Table –
    • 9 Hole Group discussed that golf carts have recently not been cleaned properly, towels not on carts and ice is not changed out regularly – Bob to discuss directly with Chris when he returns
    • No arrests have been made for vandalism on Hole #25, after Mckinney Police researched license plates obtained from neighbors their investigation found no evidence to pursue arrest.
