2022 U.S. Women's Amateur Qualifying - Nashawtuc

Practice Rounds: A practice round may be scheduled by contacting the Nashawtuc Pro Shop and identifying yourself as a competitor in the field. Practice rounds are available for players only and may be booked subject to club availability. Each player is limited to one practice round. 

 

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 10:00am off the 1st tee. See the "Starting Times" tab above to view the pairings and starting times. 

 

Withdrawals:  Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately by e-mailing ghowell@massgolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 5 Qualifying Spot and 2 Alternate Spots. Qualifying players will advance to the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at Chambers Bay (University Place, WA).  

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is prohibited. 

 

Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddy and/or use a push cart.  

 

Golf Ball:  The One-Ball Rule will be in effect.  See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: Compeition Tees & Yardage are approximate and subject to change. Please see the chart below for approximate yardage estimates, along with the correlating club tee marker to play during a practice round. The competition will be played from approximately 6,200 yards - Par 72.

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be open and available at 8:30am. 

 

Food & Beverage: The snack bar will be open for players to purchase food & beverage, beginning at 10:00am. 

 

Dress Code:  Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the application. 

 

*Please also review the 2022 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labled "USGA Policies" prior to competion.

 

*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
