Spectator and Caddie Policy

General information

Spectators and caddies are permitted at all WAGC US tournaments provided the course allows spectators on the course and they don't interfere with pace of play.

  • Spectators are required to remain on cart paths and follow local rules.
  • Spectators and caddies are the responsibility of the player.
  • Spectators must remain out of area of play.
  • Both spectators and caddies must practice proper golf etiquette at all times.

Cart usage

Spectators and/or caddies may or may not be permitted to use a cart. It is the tour’s policy that they must walk. However, if the course and the tournament director allow them to ride in a cart, it will be the tour director’s discretion to allow it.

Any and all fees associated with cart use is the responsibility of the spectator/caddy.

Caddies

Caddies are welcomed at WAGC Tournaments and are permitted to ride in a cart at all LOCAL Tournaments, provided the course has carts available.  Any Cost incurred for a caddies cart is the responsibility of the Player/Caddy.

Caddies at all NATIONAL Events are required to walk.

Behavior

Per the USGA Rules of Golf, the player incurs any applicable penalty for any breach of a rule by his/her caddie, including unsportsmanlike conduct.

If there is an issue with the behavior of a spectator(s) or caddie(s),the individual(s) will be asked to leave the premises.
