WELCOME TO THE 2017 BAKKER CROSSING LADIES' GOLF ASSOCIATION!

Bakker Crossing Ladies Golf Association

Welcome to the Bakker Crossing Ladies’ Golf Association (BCLGA). This will be the 8th season for the Ladies’ Golf Association.  We had our largest group to date in 2016 with 117 members. We anticipate our best year ever for the BCLGA and remain committed to making Ladies’ Day at Bakker Crossing the best Ladies’ Day in the Sioux Falls area.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Bakker Crossing Ladies’ Golf Association is to create a fun golfing environment for all members by hosting competitive and entertaining golfing events where each player will have an equal opportunity to win prizes and enjoy their day on the golf course.

General Information

Tuesday Evenings

On Ladies’ Day, BCLGA Members play a different 9-hole event each Tuesday with a chance to win prizes. Tee-times are available from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm on one nine, and a 5:30 pm shotgun is available on the opposite nine. The tee-time side and shotgun side will rotate each week. Members make their own tee-time and we pair up individual golfers with groups as needed. This league is designed for players to play golf, socialize, and have fun. BCLGA Members are not required to play every week and will not need to make up any missed dates. We will also host a year-end dinner for all Ladies’ Golf Association Members.

Format

BCLGA Members will pay $5.00 every time they play. $4.00 of the entry fee is pooled for the competition each week. 100% of this entry fee is paid out in the form of golf shop credit. The hole-in-one money ($1.00) is pooled and $300.00 is paid for a hole-in-one. Each event will feature an exciting format and an opportunity for players to win prizes.

Dues

The dues will include the following:

  • 2017 USGA Handicap ($35 value!)
  • Opening night hors d’oeuvres
  • Year-end dinner
  • Preferred course access on Tuesday evenings
  • Eligibility to compete in the Ladies’ Club Championship

All events will be flighted based on the player’s USGA GHIN Handicap. Our goal is to have as many winners as possible. It does not matter if you are an established player or just beginning, all players will have an equal opportunity to win prizes.
