2017 Mens Senior League

Monday Mornings | 7:00 – 9:00am Tee Times

Applicable Fees: Traditional or Evergreen Membership, $100 League Fee, $30 GHIN Handicap Fee

                Fees must be paid in full by May 5th

 

Registration Deadline: April 28th, 2017

 

League Start Date: May 8th, 2017

 

League End Date: September 18th, 2017 – Scramble/Banquet

 

League Details:

 

  • Two Person (Team Point Quota – 18 Holes).  All players are required to have an active GHIN handicap.  Match Points are 1 on the front, back and total for 3 Match Points Total.
  • Quota Points: Triple Bogey = -1, Double Bogey = 0, Bogey = 1, Par = 2, Birdie = 4, Eagle = 8
    • LEAGUE RULE IS TO PICK UP AFTER TRIPLE BOGEY
  • Teeing Ground Eligibility: Players who are 75+ or have a handicap index of 30.0 or higher at week 1 have the option of choosing Green Tees.  All other players will play White Tees.
    • Players who compete from Greens Tees will have an adjustment of 3 strokes off their handicap for the USGA Handicap Rule of 3-5 (players competing from diff. sets of tees)
  • Player’s Quota week to week will be determined by your handicap.  The Weekly Point Adjustment procedure has been discontinued.

 

Blind Draw & Attendance:

 

  • At least 1 player from the team must be present (can’t have 2 subs for the team)
  • Blind Draw will only be utilized till thru May 15th.  Team will start match -4 points without a sub from May 22nd thru the season.

 

Players’ Responsibilities:

 

  • Posting of Scores:  NEW for 2017 – League Scores will be posted by the pro shop, any other round outside of league, it is the responsibility of the player to post scores.  If you need assistance, please ask the pro shop and we can help you post.
  • Completed Scorecard: Players are required to have their scorecard completed before turning it in after your round and have 2 signatures from the scorekeeper and someone to attest
  • Pace of Play: League pace of play is of the utmost importance.  To ensure the enjoyment of all players on Monday morning, please keep track of your groups pace week to week.  Your 18 holes should take 4hrs 30mins or less.  Our players assistants will help you know your position on the course should your group fall behind time.
