Championship Details

 

Date: April 27-28, 2023

 

Course: The Home Course, DuPont, WA

 

Entry Fee: $150

 

Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, two rounds of competition, tee gift, range balls, lunch following final round play, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.

 

Entry Deadline: April 12, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who: (1) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club, and (2) meet at least one of the following requirements.

 

Men’s and Senior Men’s Eligibility Requirements

  • Club Champion of a WA Golf Member Club (2021 or 2022)
  • Past Champion of the Men’s Champion of Champions (2018-2022)
  • Past Champion of Senior Men’s Champion of Champions (2018-2022)
  • Champion of a WA Golf Championship; excluding Parent-Child and Mixed Chapman Championships (2022)
  • Champion of any event on the WA Golf Men’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Champion of any event on the WA Golf Senior Men’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-10 on the WA Golf Men’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-10 on the WA Golf Men’s Mid-Amateur Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WA Golf Senior Men’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WJGA Boys’ Performance Points List (2022)
  • WJGA State Junior Boys Champion (2022)

 

Age: No age requirements for Men’s Championship. Players in the Senior Men’s Championship must have reached their fifty-fifth birthday by April 27, 2023.

 

Women’s and Senior Women’s Eligibility Requirements

  • Club Champion of a WA Golf Member Club (2021 or 2022)
  • Past Champion of the Women’s Champion of Champions (2018-2022)
  • Past Champion of Senior Women’s Champion of Champions (2018-2022)
  • Champion of a WA Golf Championship; excluding Parent-Child and Mixed Chapman Championships (2022)
  • Champion of any event on the WA Golf Women’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Champion of any event on the WA Golf Senior Women’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WA Golf Women’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WA Golf Women’s Mid-Amateur Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WA Golf Senior Women’s Performance Points List (2022)
  • Top-5 on the WJGA Girls’ Performance Points List (2022)
  • WJGA State Junior Girls Champion (2022)

 

Age: No age requirements for Women’s Championship. Players in the Senior Women’s Championship must have reached their fiftieth birthday by April 27, 2023.

 

Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 156 qualified entrants (60 Men, 48 Senior Men, 18 Women, 30 Senior Women). Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.

 

Schedule: 36-hole stroke play (gross only). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship.

 

Caddies: A player may provide his/her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.

 

Carts: Players and caddies may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $18 per seat/day. Fees will be collected during registration.
