Championship Details
Date: May 8-9, 2023
Course: Desert Canyon Golf Resort, Orondo, WA
Entry Fee: $480 per team
Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, two rounds of competition, tee gift, range balls, hosted lunch, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.
Entry Deadline: April 24, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
Eligibility: Entries are open to sides of female amateur golfers who: (1) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 40.4, and (2) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club.
Age: No age requirements
Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 60 qualified sides. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.
Schedule: 36-hole four-ball stroke play (gross and net). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
Handicaps: Players will receive 85% of their playing handicap for net scoring. The maximum allowable playing handicap per player is 36. Players above this will be reduced to meet this requirement.
Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship. (Teams are responsible for their cart fee)
Caddies: A player may provide her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.
Carts: Cart fees are included in the entry fee. All players must take a cart. Cart fees for the practice round are not included.
Exempt Players: Champions of the 2022 Washington Women’s Four-Ball, Kelly Gardner and Kim Titus

Small 1-Bedroom - $150 per night plus tax, max capacity – 1 couple or 2 individuals.
Large 1-Bedroom - $180 per night plus tax, max capacity – 1 couple or 2 individuals.
2-Bedroom Casita - $260 per night plus tax, max capacity – 2 couples or 2 individuals.
4-Bedroom Casita - $400 per night plus tax, max capacity – 4 individuals.
**The following rates are subject to a 2-night minimum and will be available on a first come first serve basis. Reservations can be made by calling (509) 784-1234. Players should identify themselves as Washington Women’s Four-Ball Participants when booking.**
Exemptions: Champions earn an exemption into the following events:
- 2024 Washington Women’s Champion of Champions
- 2024 Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship
Women’s Referral Program: Anyone who played in a WA Golf Women’s Championship in 2021 or 2022 is eligible to receive a $25 rebate by inviting a new player. New players (must not have played in the WA Golf Championship they are registering for in or 2021, or 2022) who register will also receive the $25 rebate. New players should indicate the player that referred them during the online registration process. Rebates are limited to one per person, per championship.
All rebates will be issued in the form of a $25 merchandise certificate redeemable in the host club golf shop. Rebates will be distributed during player registration at each championship.
