The Birdies was established for the purpose of acquainting fellow female members of Pinehurst Country Club through the game of golf. Membership is open to any female member of PCC with an established USGA handicap index. The Birdies play on Monday mornings. The pairings/starting times are posted on the Friday (3 days before play) on The Members Website. Several special events are scheduled during the year with an annual meeting held in December along with a festive holiday luncheon.

Generally, play each week involves a designated “game” and teams use the best score(s) for each hole as indicated. Players have the option of playing either Red or Yellow tees. The only individual tournament is the Birdies Championship held in the fall each year.

New members are provided an orientation prior to their first week of play.

Dues: Annual dues are payable by check prior to your first week of play. Annual dues are currently $50. Dues are applicable for a calendar year beginning in January. A new member joining after October 1st has the option of paying $15 for the remainder of the year or paying the full dues of $50 to cover the remainder of that year and the following year.

Ringers: Ringers is a season-long quest to post your best possible score on a specific course. Each year we choose a new course. At the end of the season, players will be flighted and payouts will be given for the lowest gross scores in each flight.

**RINGER COURSE 2023 - Course 6
