Memorandum to Contestants

Thank you for entering the 2023 Winter Championship. We welcome you as a contestant and trust your experience playing in an event conducted by the Wyoming State Golf Association will be enjoyable and one you will always remember.

 

The following information will help answer questions and explain many details before arriving in Mesquite.  Please keep this memorandum for reference.

 

Notice of Withdrawal

If you must withdraw, please withdraw online.  You will use the same process as you did when you signed up for the event.

 

Schedule

 

M    Monday, March 6	7:30 am Shotgun Start	Round 1 Canyons Please pay for the Skins & Deuce Pot in the cart staging area before your round.  Both rounds must be paid for on Monday.
T     Tuesday, March 7	7:00 am Shotgun Start	Round 2 Palmer

Practice Rounds

There are no practice rounds with this event, should you desire a practice round please make your own arrangements.

 

Format – Four-Ball – 18 Holes

Teams will be placed into flights.  The lowest 18 Hole Score will be the winner each day.

 

Gross and Net will be paid in all Flights.

 

 

Handicaps will be based on the March 1st Revision

 

 

Personal Effects

Please take care of your valuables.  Neither The Oasis Golf Club nor the WSGA can assume responsibility for articles lost or stolen.

 

Dress Code

All players must comply with the club dress code:  Collared shirt, blouse w/collar or sleeves, Bermuda length shorts.  NO Denim, T-Shirts, Cut-offs or Athletic Shorts.  Alternative Spikes are required.

 

Carts and Range

Carts and Range Balls are part of your entry fee for this event.

 

Starting Times

It is your responsibility to be at the starting tee/cart staging area early.  Please have your clubs loaded onto your cart by 8am each day.
