101st Men's Metropolitan Championship

Dates: Thursday thru Sunday, July 20-23, 2023

Entry Fee: $250

 

Registration Deadline: Friday, July 14th, 2023, at 11:59 PM
 

Registration Includes: Greens Fee, Carts, Range Balls, and Awards.
 

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30 for each day of the Championship. Groupings for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be set with the highest scores going out first.

 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf  of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVGA.

 

Eligibility: Contestants must be a resident of one of the following counties: Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, or Warren or attend a School or University located within.

 

Format of Play: 72 holes of Stroke Play with the low 32 scores and ties after 36 holes qualifying for weekend play

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this Event Microsite.

 

Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game are required. Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted. A non-metal spike is required

Awards: Gift Certificates are awarded to the top 10 finishers

  

Playoff:  If a tie exists after regulation play, a 3 hole aggregate playoff will determine the Champion.  (Holes #1, 17 & 18)
