2023 OJGT Lincoln Park Spring Fling & NB3 Local Qualifier Event Information

METHOD OF PLAY
36-Holes, Individual Stroke Play
The field will be divided into the following divisions:
- Boys
- Girls
In the event of a tie for first place in a division, there will be a sudden-death playoff to determine a sole winner. Should there be an inability to conduct a playoff (course availability, weather, darkness, etc.), ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching cards (Total Score of Second Round, Last 9 Holes, Last 6 Holes, Last 3 Holes, then 18th Hole Going Back to #1).
Any other ties for prizes (other than first place) will broken using the USGA method of matching cards.
Conditions of the playoff will be announced on-site by the OJGT Rules Committee.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for this event and its divisions is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

Must have created a Player's Account Through Golf Genius - Register Now

Sign up for OJGT Membership ($80 Yearly Fee) - Sign Up Now

Must be between the ages of 12-18 on or before the first day of the Championship.
- Participants must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
Note: High school graduates may participate in events until they become 19 years old or August 1st of their graduation year. High school graduates are not eligible to gain tour points.

NOTAH BEGAY III JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP LOCAL QUALIFIER INFORMATION
The Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship Series (NB3 JGNC) is a 2-stage qualifying process culminating in a 54-hole National Championship that will air on Golf Channel during a 2-hour broadcast. The Series is open to all players. In 2023, players who qualify through the available qualifying spots below will have the choice of play in either one or two Regional Finals. They will be invited to the following events: Kansas Regional Final, June 28th – 29th at Firekeeper GC in Mayetta, KS (Co-Ed) and/or the Northern Texas Regional Final July 20-21 at Sky Creek Ranch GC in Keller Texas (Boys) or Northern Texas Regional Final July 18-19 at Southern Oaks GC in Burleson, TX (Girls).
The NB3 JGNC will offer the following Qualifying Spots by Division into their NB3 Regional Finals:
• Boys 12-18: Top-5 Spots
• Girls 12-18: Top-5 Spots
A player’s age division is determined by their age on May 1st and age divisions are as follows for the NB3 JGNC Series for both boys and girls at the Regional Level: 16-18, 14-15, 12-13, and 10-11.
