2023 Mid-Amateur & Senior Metropolitan Championship

Dates: Thursday and Friday, August 31-September 1, 2023

Entry Fee: $175

 

Registration Deadline: Friday, August 25th, 2023, at 11:59 PM
 

Registration Includes: Greens Fee, Carts, Range Balls, and Awards.
 

Starting Times: Tee Times are scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM

 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf  of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVGA.

 

Eligibility: Contestants must be a resident of one of the following counties: Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby, or Warren or attend a School or University located within.

 

Format of Play: 36 holes of Stroke Play

 

Divisions of Play: Mid-Amateur Championship Ages 25-49

Senior Metropolitan Divisions Age 50-64, Ages 65-74, Ages 75 & Old

 

Yardages: Age 25-64 6350-6550 yards / Ages 65-74 6050-6250 yards  / Ages 75 & Older 5550-5850 Yards

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this Event Microsite.

 

Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game are required. Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted. A non-metal spike is required

Awards: Gift Certificates will be awarded to the top finishers in each Division.

  

Playoff:  If a tie exists after regulation play, a 4 hole aggregate playoff will determine the Champion
