SCGA MEMBER OUTING

OUTING INFORMATION

ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION:

  • Registration will be located outside the clubhouse near the bag drop.
  • The golf shop will be open beginning at 8 a.m. for purchases with major credit cards.
  • Restrooms will be available at the clubhouse and on the course.

 

STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS: 

  • Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted on scga.org approximately one week in advance of the Outing.
  • Shotgun start beginning at 10 a.m.
  • Play the set of tee markers that best fits your game and enhances your enjoyment of the day.

 

DRIVING RANGE:

  • The driving range will be available by 8 a.m. on the day of the Outing. 
  • Players should arrive on site prior to their starting time and allow time for driving range usage.

 

FOOD SERVICE & PURCHASES:

  • BBQ lunch is included, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Snack Bar.  After 2 p.m. all lunch service will be closed.
  • The Snack Bar will be closed for additional purchases.  

 

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION:

  • Golf carts are included with the entry fee.
  • There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart.
  • Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
  • Pull or push carts are permitted.

 

PACE OF PLAY:

Friendly Hills has requested players to be mindful of a 4-hour and 15-minute round.

 

DRESS CODE:

Appropriate golf attire must be worn, including adhering to any club-specific policies.

 

CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS:

  • To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of a SCGA Member Outing, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org or by calling (818) 980-3630.
  • Refund Policy:
    • Cancelation prior to the entry closing date: Full less a $20 administrative fee.
    • Cancelation after the entry closing date and more than 48 hours prior to the outing: 50% of the entry fee.
    • Cancelation within 48 hours of the outing: No refund.
