On our home course, the Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course, allows play to occur from three sets of tees at Par 71.

 

Blue:

• This is the default tee we play from and all players can select these tees
• Yardage is 6418 with a rating of 69.2 and slope rating of 114

White:

• Optional forward tee location for those 60+ years of age
• Yardage is 5978 with a rating of 67.0 and slope rating of 109

Red/White Combination:

• Optional forward tee location for those 75+ years of age
• Yardage is 5469 with a rating of 64.5. and slope rating of 101
• Red Tees = 1,3,6,7,9,11,14,17,18
• White Tees = 2,4,5,8,10,12,13,15,16

 

As a rule, we allow players to change their tee assignments one time per quarter.  This is to allow for consistency and minimize setup as we use Golf Genius, an automated real-time scoring application to track scores.

 

If you wish to change tees and meet the age eligibility requirement noted above for the tees that you desire to play from, please send a message to the BCMGC Board at least a day prior to the scheduled round via our Golf Genius Member Portal or to bearcreekmensgolf@gmail.com.

 

Also, if you are bringing a guest, the same age eligibility requirements apply; in this case as well, please send a message to the BCMGC Board on the tees that your guest(s) will be playing from at least a day prior to the scheduled round.

 

Lastly, it is expected that you play from the tees that are indicated for you on the tee sheet for a given round; if the tees listed are incorrect, then please contact a BCMGC board member prior to the start of the round to correct the tee error.  If you play from the wrong tees and do not take the appropriate action/penalty, then your score will be disqualified.
