40th STROKE PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 54 Holes, Stroke Play
- There will be a cut after 18 Holes to low 42 players plus ties.
- The Senior Division will cut after 18 Holes to low 15 players plus ties.
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023 - Round One (18 Holes)
Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023 - Round Two (18 Holes) & Round Three (18 Holes)
SENIOR DIVISION: For competitors who have reached their 55th birthday by Aug. 8, 2023.
The Senior Division will be a 36-Hole competition and comprised of the Seniors playing
the forward tees only. The low 15 Seniors plus ties will play Round Two. If a Senior plays the
back tee, they will be competing in the main event only. Should a Senior playing in the main event
earn Player of the Year points, they will be added to the Senior Player of the Year.
Food & Beverage: Lunch on Day 1 was included in the entry fee. Will be available day 2 on a cash basis.
Practice Rounds: Valley CC has public access and tee times are available by reserving them online
at https://www.valleycountryclub.net/
CART & CADDIE POLICY: Carts are permissible and included in the entry fee. A player may take a caddie or carry their own bag at any stage of the competition.
CONDITIONS/SCHEDULES: The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.
