25th JOHN P. BURKE MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Newport CC & Green Valley CC
October 3-4, 2023
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 Holes, Stroke Play
- There will be no cut after 18 Holes
- There will be Gross & Net Divisions, players will compete in both.
- Field will be limited to 150 players.
Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023 - Round One (18 Holes)
Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023 - Round Two (18 Holes)
Round 2 Tee Times will be based on Round 1 Scores
HANDICAP DETERMINATION: The index that will be used will be as of Sept. 29, 2023.
SENIOR DIVISION: For competitors who have reached their 55th birthday by October 3, 2023. The Senior Division will be comprised of the Seniors playing the forward tees only. If a Senior plays the back tee, they will be competing in the main event only. Should a senior playing in the main event earn Player of the Year points, they will be added to the Senior Player of the Year.
DRIVING RANGE: Green Valley CC - Will be available both days. Newport CC - Will be available pending weather.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: Newport CC - Food service is not available, the bar will be open. Green Valley CC - Food will be available both days on a cash basis.
CART & CADDIE POLICY: Carts are permissible and included in the entry fee. A player may take a caddie or carry their own bag at any stage of the competition.
