The committee invites you to participate in this unique event for men and women age 65 and over. Salina Country Club and Central Links Golf will again host the Legends of Kansas Championship on June 5 and 6, 2023. Membership in a Central Links Golf member club is not required to participate, but a GHIN handicap index of 16.0 or lower is required. In past years we have welcomed players from Oklahoma, Colorado, California and Texas and we expect even more out-of-state participation this year.

Both Gross and Net scoring will be used in all Divisions, with appropriate prizes awarded. Approximate yardages are: Super Senior men age 65 and over (6,150 yards); Legends age 70+(5,900 Yards); Super Legends age 75+ (5,647 yards); and Women age 65 and over (4,857 yards). This is a unique opportunity for husbands and wives to compete in the same event, on a great golf course, in their appropriate Divisions.

Each year this tournament honors one Kansas golfer whose accomplishments have distinguished them as a true Kansas Legend. This year's honoree is Wichita native Natasha "Tash" Matson Fife, a five time Kansas Women's Amateur Champion; seven time Wichita city champion and seven time Kansas Women's Senior Amateur Champion. A full biography of Ms. Fife's life and career can be found on the information page for the tournament.
