2023 Women’s Club Championship

August 12th |  26th & 27th

 

 

 

The Overall and Senior Women’s Club Championships are 36 holes with trophies being awarded in both gross and net categories. 

Everyone will play from the Green tees for both rounds. 

 

The Burdick Cup, Alexander Vase, Runner up bowl and Bronze ‘A’ trophies will be played for in Medal format over two ro unds.

Bronze ‘B’ and Bronze ‘C’ trophies will be played for in two rounds of net Stableford competition (see format below)

Players may begin in Medal format and switch to Stableford during the round if they decide to pick up on a hole.

Junior members cannot win a net trophy but are eligible for gross competitions.

 

Medal Play Trophies:

Burdick Cup: Low gross of the field

Runner up bowl:  2nd low gross of the field

Alexander Vase:  Low net of the field

Bronze ‘A’ Bowl: 2nd Low net of the field

 

Stableford Points Trophies:

You can play medal play and still compete in Stableford competition. Winners of medal play trophies are not eligible for Stableford trophies.

Bronze ‘B’ Bowl: Stableford Points winner

Bronze ‘C’ Bowl: Stableford Points runner up

 

Women’s Senior: (50+)

Open to all women 50 years of age and older.  This is a two-day competition played on August 26th & 27th.  Play will be from the Green tees.  Format is gross & net medal play. Women can play in the regular Championship and the senior division.

 

Women’s Super Senior: (60+) | Women's Super-Super Senior: (70+)

Open to all women 60 years of age and older.  This is a one day competition played on Saturday, August 12th.  Play will be from the Green tees.  Format is gross & net Stableford (see format below). Women can play in the regular Championship and the Super | Super-Super Senior divisions by registering for the different weekends of play.

 

Stableford Format

• Net Eagle or better                                                4 points
• Net Birdie                                                                3 points
• Net Par                                                                     2 points
• Net Bogey                                                                1 points
• Net Double Bogey or worse                                 0 points

Ties for Gross Championships will be decided by a sudden death playoff starting on Hole #1. 

Ties for net divisions will be result in co-champions.
