Registration Opens: March 29, 2023 at 9:00am EDT

 

Registration Closes: June 21, 2023 at 5:00pm EDT

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.

 

Entry Fee: $180

 

Handicap Index Limit: 2.4

 

Tournament Information

Format: 36 holes of stroke play (there is no cut)

 

Tee Times:

  • Round 1 will begin at 7:00 a.m. from holes #1 and #10.
  • Round 2 will begin at approximately 12:00 p.m. from holes #1 and #10.

 

Mobile Scoring: Players will score on their cell phones using the Golf Genius App. Please CLICK HERE to view the mobile scoring instructions.

 

Walking Only Event: All stages of a United States Amateur Championship are walking only. Caddies are allowed in all stages of qualifying and may not take carts.

 

 Concurrent CGA Qualifier: This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the CGA Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a USGA Amateur championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the USGA Amateur Championship qualifier may also use this site as a CGA Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Amateur Qualifier only. Please CLICK HERE to register for the concurrent CGA Amateur Championship Qualifier 

 

Pull Carts: Columbine Country Club does not allow pull carts.


Caddies: Columbine CC has an on-site caddie program. To reserve a caddie for the day, please email Matt Edwards - caddiemaster@columbinecc.com

 

Qualifying Positions: 2

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be available beginning at 6:00 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds will be available on July 5th in the afternoon. Please call the golf shop to set up a time. (303) 794-2674

 

Player Food: Will be available to purchase. Cash and Credit Card will be accepted. 

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores to GHIN.

 

 

USGA Policies & Local Rules in Effect

Distance Measuring Devices: Must measure distance only.

 

Green Maps: Please note that any green reading materials must adhere to the 2023 updated standards.

 

Prohibiting Use of Audio and Video Devices: During a round, a player must not listen to or watch content of any nature on a personal audio or video device (G-8).

 

Replacement of Broken or Significantly Damaged Club: Model Local Rule G-9 is in effect. CLICK HERE for a full explanation.

 

Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-3.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Modifications for Players with Disabilities: Players wishing to utilize Rule 25 must provide the USGA Championships Department with the appropriate documentation prior to the entry deadline for the respective championship. To learn more information, click here.
