Registration Information

Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members age 25 or older on or before September 29, 2023

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.

 

Registration Opens: Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 08:00 AM

 

USGA Registration Closes: Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 03:00 PM

 

CGA Registration Closes: Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 05:00 PM

 

Entry Fee: $95.00 for qualifying. Successful qualifiers will pay an additional $180 for the championship entry fee.

 

USGA Handicap Index limit: 3.4

 

 

Tournament Information

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Qualifying Positions: 5

 

Alternate Positions: 3

 

Tee Times: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10. 

 

Concurrent USGA Qualifying: This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship qualifier through the USGA's website may ALSO use this site as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier only.

 

If you are registered for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship qualifier and would also like to use this site as a qualifying round for the CGA Mid-Amateur Championship, your 18-hole total score will be used as your qualifying score against the other players that are also registered for the concurrent CGA Mid-Amateur qualifier.

 

Walking Only Event: Players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie. Caddies may use a pull cart. Players may not ride in a motorized cart.

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available by 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

Player Food: A limited menu will be available for purchase at the responsibility of the player.

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores to GHIN.
