Do you want to lower your handicap?

Join our chapter’s “Biggest Loser” challenge!

What is the “Biggest Loser” challenge?

The goal of this challenge is to see how low you can go and claim the title of “Most Improved Player for 2023”.  This is a fantastic opportunity for those of us who are working to lower our handicaps!

Challenge Details:

  • The season runs April 8th through October 1st.
  • To join this competition, you must have a current USGA Handicap, and you must post a minimum of ten 18-hole rounds (using any combination of 18-hole and 9-hole scores).
  • After you register and we have our slate of competitors, your starting handicap will be downloaded from USGA GHIN on April 8, 2023. During the window of competition, have fun golfing and posting all your scores per USGA processes.  Midway through the season, we will share progress.  Your ending handicap will be downloaded from USGA GHIN on October 2, 2023.
  • The winner will be the golfer who improved the most – a direct percentage of their April 8th handicap compared to their October 1st handicap.
  • The winner will be announced at our Year-End Banquet on October 26th and will go home with the pot of money!

Cost:  $10/person

Last day to register: April 6th, 2023
