Senior Male Amateurs: (approx. 6,200 yards)

Female Professionals & Championship Golfers: (approx. 5,800-6,000 yards)

Senior Female Amateurs: (approx. 5,400 yards)

PURSE CALCULATION WITH AMATEURS IN ‘OPEN PURSE”

If 10 Amateurs decide to play in the ‘Open’ field vs. the Pros, the purse will increase from $20,000 to $21,000.

Every Amateur registering in the ‘Open’ field will count for ¼ Pro when considering the overall field size and purse payout based on their contribution to the purse is $100 vs. $500 (Pros).

If 40 Pros in field.  Purse payout = 35% = Top 14 paid out.

If 40 Pros + 10 Amateurs in Open field.  Purse payout = 35% of Pros = 15

plus 35% of Amateurs (10) x 1/4 = top 15 paid out

For this event, Male and Female Professionals and Amateurs playing in the Open Division will compete against one another for one overall Prize Purse.

Female golfers will be provided with a shorter yardage equal to approx..85% of the Men’s yardage.

In all Amateur Divisions (Champ/Senior), if we receive 5 or more female entries in the division, we will have separate Male and Female Flights within your division.

If we do not receive 5 or more female entries in these divisions, female Amateurs will compete vs. the Male Amateurs in their division, playing from approximately 85% of the Male yardage.

OPTIONAL SKINS GAME & HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOTS:

If you wish to play in the skins game the first 2 days, please add $40 for the 2 days ($20/day) and this makes you eligible for the $5,000 Hole-in-one jackpots that are available both days!

As of March 20th, there are 3 x $5,000 Hole-in-One Jackpots available!

All three divisions (Pros, Champ Amateur (5.0 & less) Seniors) are combined for the GROSS SKINS game.  Senior Golfers will play approximately 10% shorter yardage.

PROGRESSIVE HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT RULES

  1. In order to qualify for the Hole-in-one (H.I.O) JACKPOT offered at a VGT event, a player must be entered into the $20 skins game/hole-in-one pot for that event.  If there is no winner of the hole-in-one at VGT event, the current hole-in-one pot will carry over to the next event until we have a winner of the jackpot.  If by the end of the Winter Tour the jackpot has not been won, the current jackpot will be carried over into the Summer Tour schedule.
  2. If the jackpot accumulates to $5,000, it will be cut-off at $5,000 and the first eligible person (see above) to score a hole-in-one on an eligible jackpot hole will receive the $5,000 payout.  A secondary Hole-in-one purse will be started as soon as the original jackpot reaches $5,000.  From the time the original purse reaches $5,000, moneys collected for the H.I.O purse will accumulate in this secondary pot while the first pot remains at $5,000. The secondary pot will continue to grow until the next eligible player scores a hole-in-one on the designated jackpot hole at a VGT event.  The maximum H.I.O purse paid out at any time will be $5,000, and once the pot has reached $5,000, a 3rd and 4th purse (and so on) will be established for future winners.
  3. Due to the skill difference of Pros versus the Amateurs in the field, we level the playing field for the JACKPOT two ways:
    1. By allowing the Division 1,2 and 3 amateurs to tee-off a shorter designated tee-box at various times compared to Professionals and Championship Amateurs.
    2. VGT hosts numerous Amateur only events where Amateurs have a chance to win the JACKPOT without Pros in the field.
