2023 Grove Summer Golf League 

 

 

Format:

• 4-Person Scramble Golf 
• 8 rounds (9-holes), including the League Finale 

 

 

Location:

Ironwood Golf Club
(550 W Champagne Dr, Chandler, AZ 85248)

 

Cost:

One-time league fee: $10.00 (payable at your first round)

Greens Fees: generally $20 per week (includes a cart). 

 

Tee Times:

The first group will tee off between 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm. The rest of the groups will follow.

 

Scoring for the league:

• 1 point-- for showing up and playing.
• 1 point-- for winning the Closest to the Pin (2 per round)
• 1 point-- for Long Putt (on the designated hole)
• 1 point -- per player for every Team Skin won
• 2 points-- per player for Team Low Score 

 

Example: You show up and play, your team wins, has one team skin, and you win the closest to the pin—you earn 5 points for the day

 

Handicapping:

All players will be designated as A, B, C, or D players.

 

 

Game Rules:

• All Men 59 and Lower Tee Off from the Blue Tee Box.
• Men Over 60 will tee off from the White Tee Box.
• Men Over 70 can tee off from the Forward Tee Box.
• Ladies will use the Red Tee box.
• Must use each person's drive at least one time.
• You may only play with one player of your choice (for example you can bring a buddy or a son) the other two will be placed for you so that we can try and keep teams somewhat balanced.
• Please utilize the Golf Genius app to keep score. Your GGID will be provided to your group before teeing off.
