Tournament Details and Eligibility
The BOYD AUTOBODY Tour Championship is the final VGT event where points will qualify for the 2023 CLEVELAND/SRIXON Order of Merit.
TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATION LIST: 60 amateurs and 20 Professionals
Using the standings from the 2023 Srixon/Cleveland Order of Merit as of August 21st,
the following players have qualified to play in the 2023 Boyd Autobody Tour Championship:
The top 20 VGT Member Professionals
The top 6 Female VGT Members in Championship Flight
The top 12 Male VGT Members in Championship Flight
The top 12 VGT Members in Flight One
The top 12 VGT Members in Flight Two
The top 12 VGT Members in Flight Three
The top 6 VGT Members in Senior Division
(SEE FULL LIST OF QUALIFYING PLAYERS BELOW)
All players are required to register for the event through Golf Genius. Players that have qualified through the parameters above will be admitted directly into the field once their registration is received. All other player entries will be held as pending until we can determine the # of unclaimed invite spots per division as of the end of Sept.8th. Credit cards will not be charged until your entry is confirmed.
- Qualifying VGT Members from the 2023 Order of Merit have their entries guaranteed until Sept.8th.
- If by Sept.9th, the event is not completely filled with qualifying members, all unfilled spots will be filled in priority by the next highest placed member on the Order of Merit who has registered by Sept.8th.
- If the event is not filled with members within a division or flight by September 10th, all remaining spots will be filled by non-members in the order of registration received.
36-Hole Stroke Play Championship
All Players will compete within their own flight for Order of Merit Points and prizing as follows:
- PRO PURSE: $10,000 (based on full field of 24 pros). Top 10 Pros will be paid out.
Pros are also playing for year-end awards and bonuses as noted below.
- AMATEUR PRIZING (based on full field per flight)
The top 25% of each Amateur Division will make it to the prize table as follows:

- DIVISION ONE: Alternating Gross & Net scores
- DIVISION TWO: Alternating gross & net scores
- DIVISION THREE: Alternating Gross & Net Scores

- SENIOR DIVISION: Based on alternating Gross & Net Scores

All Pros will play with a sponsor group in round one. They will be playing in the fundraising part of the Tour Championship on day one only and playing a shamble team format.
PRO-AM FORMAT: TEAM SHAMBLE
Four Amateurs will be paired with one of VGT’s Feature Pros to make up a 5-person Pro-Am Team.
The format for the Pro-Am is a best 2 NET scores using 50% of handicaps.

- $1,000 TOP CLEVELAND/SRIXON PLAYER - Awarded to the top SRIXON Player

VGT Professionals: $350+GST ($367.50)*
Non-Member Professionals: $450+GST ($472.50)*

OPTIONAL SKINS GAME: $40/player. Please add this to your payment online.

*Pro entry includes 2 x $10 green fee donations to Meadow Gardens Junior Golf Program.

Qualified Member Priority Registration:
Members who have qualified for the Tour Championship in their division have until Friday, Sept.8th at 6pm to register with priority. After that time, we will fill the field with VGT Members who have registered before Sept.8th in priority of their Order of Merit standing.
Non-Member Registration: If the event is not yet filled with members by Friday, Sept.15th, non-members will be admitted into the field in order of their entry being received.
Wind-up Awards and Presentations will be conducted in the clubhouse over a cold refreshment!
