TERMS OF THE COMPETITION


 

ELIGIBILITY

This event is open to:

- All male and female amateur golfers

- Golf professionals residing within the TCGA Region

 

FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST

The field is limited to the first 75 players to apply. After the field limit is reached, players will be placed on a wait list in order by their time of registration.

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Entry Fee: $60. This includes all green fees, cart fees, and prize pool. Members should discuss discounts with host course.
    • Please note - due to our new payment processing platform and substantially higher transaction fees, American Express is no longer able to be accepted as a form of payment for online registrations. All other major credit cards are accepted.
  • Deadline: Completed entries must be received prior to the deadline (5PM EST on Thursday, September 7th, 2023). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $10 service fee, will be refunded if a player withdraws prior to the close of registrations. No refund will be awarded after the registration deadline.

 

FORMAT & DIVISIONS

The format is 18 holes of stroke play from the following tees:

  • Men – Blue Tees
  • Men (70+) – White Tees
  • Women – Red Tees

 

PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS

This is a counting event for the 

Remlik’s Player of the Year as outlined on the Point System and Eligibility page.

 

RULES

All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The TCGA and/or the host course golf professional will be available to provide rulings and answer questions.

FIRST ROUND TEE TIMES AND PAIRINGS

The pairings will be available by Friday, September 8th and will be emailed to all players. If you have a first-round tee time request (early vs late), please indicate in the appropriate field during registration, which also may be edited after you submit your entry (see confirmation email). Pairing requests will not be accommodated for individual stroke play events.

  

FOOD & BEVERAGE

The club's snack bar will be open. Please plan accordingly for other food/refreshments.

 

GOLF CARTS

The golf cart rental fee is included in the entry fee.

 

CADDIES

The use of a caddie is permitted, although groups are STRICTLY limited to 2 carts total and each player is entitled to one seat before a caddie may ride in an open seat. For example, a threesome where two players bring caddies cannot take a 3rd golf cart, they must work out which caddie will ride in the open seat, caddies may alternate riding as well.

 

RANGE

Not included with entry. Please note - a driving range is available on site, but players must bring their own golf balls if they wish to use the range to warm up.

  

PRIZES

Cash payouts will be awarded to approximately 20% of the field. There will be a $10 optional skins game available, paid in the pro shop in cash prior to play.
