$250 (Cards will not be charged until confirmation of entry into the field)

**Late entries will be accepted onto the waiting list. If a spot becomes available, GSGA will contact you to proceed with registration. A $30 late registration fee will apply at that time.

 

FIELD SIZE

60 players. All exempt players to register will receive immediate entry into the field. All other entries will be placed on a pending list until the entry deadline. Striving for the goal of inclusivity, the GSGA will accept entries equally across all Impairment Categories amongst those who have registered. Secondarily, the GSGA selection process will take WR4GD Rankings, USAGA Rankings and Handicap Index into effect in determining the field.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility: Open to players with an active World Handicap System Index and a WR4GD Pass.  This is a WR4GD Counting Event.

FORMAT

Format: 54 holes of stroke play.

All players will be considered for Overall Champion regardless of tees. 

DIVISIONS/FLIGHTS

The 5th Georgia Adaptive Open will consist of divisions and flights based upon both USAGA Sport Classes and U.S. Adaptive Open Impairment Categories. Players will compete within both their Sport Class and Impairment Category during the championship.

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player is INCLUDED in the entry fee. Practice rounds will be available in the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19. The retreat course will be unavailable Monday, June 17 - Wednesday, June 19 (morning) for the GSGA Girls' Championship and GSGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on January 26. 

REGISTRATION

Formal registration will be held at the Retreat Course at Sea Island on Wednesday, June 19th. Additional details will be communicated with the field following the close of entries.

CARTS

Practice and tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee.

 

CADDIES & PLAYER AIDES

Players are responsible for planning for a caddie and/or player aide should they choose to use one. A limited number of caddies and/or player aides can be made available by the GSGA upon advanced request. Players may ride in a cart or walk. Caddie/player aide requests may be made to Kevin Duffy - kduffy@gsga.org

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY

FOOD SERVICE

Various meals will be provided throughout the event. Player refreshment areas will be provided on the golf course during all rounds as well.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the Overall, Women's, and Seated divisions for net and gross. The top finisher in each Sport Class AND Impairment Category will also be awarded.

REFUND POLICY

A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by contacting Kevin Duffy at kduffy@gsga.org or
