Welcome to the 36th PNGA Women's Senior Team Championship!

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

Lodging: Special group lodging rates are available HERE. Reservations must be made online. Cutoff date is August 26, 2018.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to two-player teams of amateur golfers who are female and who: (a) are members in good standing of a PNGA member club; (b) are 50 years of age or older as of September 17, 2018; (c) each have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 40.4 at the time of entry; and (d) partners' course handicaps must be within 8 strokes of one another or an adjustment will be made to the player with the higher course handicap to meet this requirement.  

Format: 54-hole stroke play competition (gross and net). Play will be contested on two different golf courses (two rounds on the Olympic Course and one round on the Cascade Course) using a different format on each day (Four-Ball, Chapman, and Four-Ball). Teams will be separated into two equal flights based on team handicap.

Age Limit: Contestants must be 50 years of age or older by September 17, 2018.

Handicap Limit: Entrants must have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor of 40.4 or less (partners' course handicaps must be within 8 strokes of one another or an adjustment will be made to the player with the higher course handicap to meet this requirement). Note: The maximum allowable course handicap will be 36 (players above this will be reduced to meet this requirement).

Field Limit: 40 teams (Field fill method: Exempt teams followed by order of entry receipt). Note: The PNGA reserves the right to modify the field limit in conjnction with the PNGA Women's Super Senior Team Championship in order to attain a total field size of 60 teams.

Entry Fee: $440.00 per team (U.S. Funds)

Cart Fee: $33.00 per team/per day; to be paid during registration

Entry Deadline: August 29, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. (PDT)  Extended until midnight on Monday, September 3. 


Entry Includes: Three rounds of championship play, one hosted hosted practice round (on Olympic Course), warm up range balls each day, tee prize, lunch following the final round shotgun, Kusak crystal for top-finishers (gross and net) and a merchandise payout for each flight (gross and net). 

Exemptions:

  • Champions earn an exemption into the 37th PNGA Women's Senior Team Championship to be played in September of 2019.
