NEW FORMAT - 32 Player Round Robin Match Play
The Dogwood State Girls' Championship began in 2005. Until 2024 it annually crowned the girls' stroke play champion in North Carolina, the Dogwood state. The championship is now conducted as a 32 player round robin match format with the top 8 advancing to bracket play. There is only one division in this championship. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer under the age of 19 as of the final round date, who has not started college, has a legal residence in North Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
