Format: 18 holes of individual stroke play. Players will play from the BLUE tee markers (see yardage sheet). The low individual scores will advance to the Championship proper at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa on Monday-Saturday, June 18-23, 2018.
The final number of spots and alternates will be announced by The Committee on the day of the qualifier. If necessary, there will be a hole-by-hole play-off to determine the last spot in the Championship proper and order of alternates.
Competition Schedule: Due to course logistics, play will begin on holes #1 and #6 at 7:30 AM. Please check the pairings link for groupings and starting times. Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their starting time.
Practice Round Information: Practice rounds are available to contestants only based on availability. Green fees: $95; cart fee: $20. Please call the Pro Shop to arrange for practice round tee times and identify yourself as a California Amateur Qualifying participant. Carts are allowed for practice rounds only.
Cart Information: Automotive transportation is prohibited. Players and caddies must walk. Pull carts are permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED.
Pro Shop & Driving Range: Pro shop and driving range will open at 6:30AM.
Payment Information: Cash and credit cards are accepted for purchases in the golf shop.
Food and Beverage Information: The snack bar on the 9th hole will open at 8:00 AM and remain open until the conclusion of play. The club house will not be open to players or spectators. The snack bar will accept cash only.
