Entries and Fees

Players must join the FWA Tour by paying the $50 membership fee. Each event is $95 to play.

Entry Fee includes Golf, Cart, Range Fees, and Prizes.

Rules of Golf, Competition is Final

Play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA.  Questions on situations involving the Rules will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee, whose decision will be final.  The competition is final when the final group has returned their scorecards, and the committee verifies the Competition to be final.

All golf balls and clubs must conform to USGA specifications.  Any unusual equipment or devices such as gloves, unusual tees, alignment aids, braces and the like are prohibited by the Rules of Golf.

Dress Code

Proper golf attire is required.  Jeans, halter tops, tank tops and athletic t-shirts are not permitted.  Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.

Golf carts are included in the entry fee. Cart rules during the competition are subject to the discretion of the golf course superintendent at the host facility based on course conditions and may change at any time without notice during the competition.  ADA requests for special exceptions to this rule are handled on a case-by-case basis and will be granted provided they would not alter the fundamental fairness of the competition by providing a player with an advantage over other players.  Transportation requests are subject to change based on evolving conditions.

Caddies and Golf Carts

Caddies are NOT allowed for FWA Tour events.  Central Links Golf has a strict 2 carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first.  The pairing group has the responsibility to ensure to adhere to the cart policy.

Spectators are allowed and may walk along to watch the event. Golf carts may be rented by spectators if they are available, but carts for an event must be reserved for players, Rules officials and Central Links staff first. Spectators (riding or walking) are asked to remain on the cart path during the play of a hole.  Spectators may help search for golf balls but must not function as a caddie.  Spectators may ride in a player's cart if a seat is available, and the group can accommodate the 2 carts per group policy.

Weather Cancellation Policy

If weather causes an event in progress to be cancelled, any division that has at least 80% of the players finish the round will count and be awarded prizes and points.  Those who did not finish the round will be refunded the entry fee, less any administrative fees.  If any division does not have 80% of the players finish, the round will not count and all players in the division will be refunded the entry fee, less any administrative fees.

There will be no on-site registration.  Please arrive at your starting tee 10 minutes prior to your starting time to receive instructions. Players who are not ready to play at their tee time will be subject to penalty or disqualification. (Rule 5.3a)

Practice Round & Practice Privileges

Practice rounds are permitted but are NOT included in the entry fee.  The host facility will determine availability and rate for such practice rounds, please contact the golf shop directly.

Practice facilities are available 1 hour before the first starting time each day. Range conditions such as grass/mats are at the discretion of the host site. Please be courteous of the Club's decision that day.
