FORMAT: 54-Hole Individual and Team Stroke Play
The event will primarily provide for each state or region to be represented by one team. For states or regions with multiple top WAGR players a second team from the state or region will be able to apply to play. Preference will be given to teams whose players are highest on the state POY rankings, WAGR rankings, Amateur.com rankings, or who have played in at least 2 national invitational events in the past year.
PLAYOFF: In the event of a tie in the team competition, the score of the fourth player on the team on Saturday will count towards the team score. In the event this results in a tie, a sudden death playoff will begin immediately.
CADDIES/MOTORIZED CARTS: Caddies are not allowed for this event. Players must use motorized carts during all rounds of the championship. The cost of the motorized cart is included in the player’s entry fee. 2 Players per cart.
- August 21, Wednesday - Practice Round
- Tee time block between 1:30pm - 3:00PM
- August 22, Thursday - Round 1
- First tee start at 7:30 AM
- August 23, Friday - Round 2
- First tee start at 7:30 AM
- August 24, Saturday - Round 3
- First tee start at 7:30 AM
- Lunch and awards to follow after the final round
SPECTATORS: Are allowed. Must walk at all times. No exceptions.
