CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

 

Dates: Tuesday, July 23, 2024 - Thursday, July 25, 2024

 

Site: OGA Golf Course | Woodburn, Ore.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with Handicap Indexes of 22.4 or less and are members in good standing of an OGA Member Club. In the Women’s Division, entrants must be at least 13 years of age as of July 23, 2024. In the Senior Women’s Division, entrants must be at least 50 years of age as of July 23, 2024.

 

Format: 54-hole stroke play competition. In the event of a tie for the gross champion in either division, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Entry Fee: $175

 

Entry Includes:

  • 4 rounds of golf - One practice round and three competitive rounds
  • OGA hosted lunch
  • Tee prizes
  • Gross and Net awards in both the Open and Senior Divisions
  • Special awards will be awarded to the Champions

 

Handicap: Playing Handicaps are reduced according to the recommendations in appendix C of the Rules of Handicapping. Players receive 95% of Course Handicap to calculate the final Playing Handicap. Handicaps will be calculated using the Handicap Index effective date of July 20th.

 

Field Limit: The field will be limited to 72 players, including Women and Senior Women. Entries will be accepted according to the date and time of receipt of entry and entry fee.

 

Exemptions: Defending Champions Makensie Toole and Lara Tennant will be eligible for guaranteed entry into the Championship (in their respective divisions only). Exempt players must meet the eligibility requirements and file an entry by the deadline.

 

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 03, 2024 at 11:59 PM

Entries are accepted according to the date and time of entry and entry fee. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.
