 Open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members with a handicap index of 10.0 or better and residents of the state of Georgia.

FORMAT & SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Saturday, July 27th 

•  Practice Rounds (1:00 - 4:00 pm)

Sunday, July 28th 

• Round 1 of pod play (8:00 - 10:30 am)
• Round 2 of pod play (1:00 - 3:30 pm)

Monday, July 29th 

•  Final round of pod play (8:00 - 10:30 am)
• Playoffs, if needed (1:00 pm)

Tuesday, July 30th

• Round of 16 (8:00 - 9:03 am)
• Quarterfinals (1:00 - 1:30 pm)

Wednesday, July 31st

• Semifinals  (8:00 & 8:15 am)
• Championship Match (1:00 pm)

PRACTICE ROUND

One practice round per player. Please call Old Toccoa Farm as soon as possible to reserve your practice round starting time between July 21-27.  $50 practice round fee must be paid directly to Old Toccoa Farm on the date the practice round is played.

Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. during the Championship.

POD PLAY

All players in the group will play a match versus each other player in their group in rounds one through three of the Championship

The winner of each match will receive one (1) point

Tied matches result in each player receiving a (0.5) half point

The player with the most points after three rounds will advance to the round of 16 from the group

In the event of a two way tie in the group after three rounds, the tiebreaker will be the result of the head to head match.

A three way tie, will have a sudden death stroke play play-off to see who will advance.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for the first round of pod play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28.

The starting times will range from 8:00 - 10:30 am.

REGISTRATION 

There is formal registration for this event.

CARTS

 Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the championship fee.

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY

The GSGA Rules of Play, Pace of Play and Spectator Cart Policy shall be in effect. Click here to view policies.

CADDIES
Caddies are allowed for the Championship. Caddies will not be provided extra carts and may need to walk. We will try to have some areas on the course where the player and caddie can ride together  from the green to the next tee or have a shuttle available.

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available in the pro shop and at the turn tent throughout the Championship. 

Lunch will be provided for all players each day of the Championship.

The dining room is open to players and guests on Saturday and Monday nights, but a reservation must be made with Old Toccoa Farm.

WITHDRAWS IN POD PLAY

If a player withdraws without completing all three matches, in equity to the group, all points will be forfeited by the withdrawn player. 

Additionally, players who withdraw without completing all three matches in pool play without valid reason may be subject to a $150 penalty payable to the GSGA Foundation before their entry will be accepted into any future GSGA Championship.  If a player withdraws before the third pod play match and will not factor into the final pod standings and who advances to the elimination brakcet, that player may NOT be subject to the penalty.  Any players wishing to withdraw during pod play must consult with the Official in Charge regarding the potential for any penalty to be enforced.

Once the seeds are set, any alternates will assume the seed of the player they are replacing.

REFUND POLICY

Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless your spot can be filled from the alternate list. A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling radams@gsga.org at 678-324-5974 or via email, radams@gsga.org.
