Join us at the beautiful Salem Golf Club on June 3rd for our 2024 Charity Golf Outing to benefit The W Connection. The event is open to ALL PLAYERS (members, non-members, women and men) of all skill levels, so invite your friends and/or family for a fun day out on the course! Sign up with your own foursome or we will pair you up in a team!
The golf outing will be a Team Scramble format and there will be plenty of contests out on the course. We will also have a Silent Auction to raise money for this worthy cause.
Not a golfer? No problem! Sign up for a Beginner's Golf Clinic and then connect with everyone for the happy hour and luncheon reception.

Our 2024 LPGA Amateurs - Westchester Charity Outing is in support of The W Connection. The W Connection is a national non-profit of widows helping widows rebuild their lives after the life-changing event of losing a spouse/partner.
There are almost 4 times as many widows as widowers in the US, and over 700,000 women become widows every year. The truth is, there are very few resources out there for widows beyond conventional grief counseling. But, when we lose our spouses/partners, most widows also lose their financial partner, their social partner, their emotional partner, and their life partner.
The W Connection fills a crucial gap in a widow’s recovery—they offer education, connection, encouragement and empowerment through original programming, research, and the healing power of social connection.

Format of the Day
The event is open to ALL PLAYERS (members and non-members) of all skill levels.
Your day starts with a continental breakfast during registration and range balls for warming up.
The golf outing will be a Team Scramble tournament. A modified Shotgun start will begin at at 10:30 am. Sign up with your own foursome or we will pair you up in a team. Players without a verifiable handicap are welcome to participate, but will compete for the Team Scramble prize as a scratch golfer (handicap of 0). Snacks and soda/water/powerade will be provided out on the course.
After a fun round of Scramble play, check out the Silent Auction items and wind down during the Cocktail Hour, followed by a buffet luncheon and our awards ceremony.
Prizes will be awarded for Team Scramble (1st and 2nd Place), plus Longest Drive and Closest to Pin contests.

Registration Fees
Golf Outing & Reception: $265 per person
Registration fee includes continental breakfast before golf, 18-hole scramble with cart, snacks and soda/water/powerade on course, happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and 1 free drink, lunch buffet during awards reception.
Clinic & Reception: $138 per person
Registration fee includes a 1-hour golf clinic with the Golf Pro (up to 5 people per Pro), happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and 1 free drink, lunch buffet during awards reception.
Reception Only: $90 per person
Registration fee includes happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and 1 free drink and lunch buffet during awards reception.
Donation to Charity
We ask that every player bring a check made out to The W Connection to make a tax deductible contribution at registration. You can also make your donation with a credit card. Every $25-50-$100-$200 helps!
100% of your contribution and all proceeds from the day will go to The W Connection.
