EVENT FORMAT

 

The VGT MASTERS 2-BALL is an 18-hole, two-player team event based on best ball medal score.

 

GROSS DIVISION

The Gross Division format is an 18-hole, two-player team event based on best ball medal gross score (best gross score on each hole).

Eligibility:  Open to all Amateurs and Juniors (14+) with registered handicap of 10.0 or less.

 

NET DIVISION (75% of handicaps used)

The Net Division format is an 18-hole, two player team event based on best ball medal net score (best net score on each hole) using 75% of each player’s handicap. 

Eligibility: Open to all Amateurs and Juniors (14+ years) with a valid handicap index of 26.0 & under.

 

*FULL FIELD OF 25 TEAMS PER DIVISION:

 

PRIORITY REGISTRATION:

Members have priority registration over non-members until Friday March 29th @ Midnight. 

Members may invite a non-member to play as their partner and still receive priority registration.

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Saturday, April 6th @ 6PM.

 

 

CONFIRMING YOUR TEAM REGISTRATION:

 

FULL TEAM Entry Fees must be paid before your team is confirmed in the tournament.  

 

TEAM ENTRIES

  • Please have one player on your team register and pay for both players in Golf Genius.
  • Please make arrangements to have your playing partner e-transfer you their share of the entry.

 

SINGLE PLAYER ENTRIES LOOKING FOR A PARTNER:

  • To register as a single, please send an email to info@vancouvergolftour.com with your name, handicap, golf affiliation and which event you wish to play: NET or GROSS event.
  • Pairings will be done randomly based on the date of their entry being received.
  • Your Team entry will be confirmed when we have received 2 x single entries in the same Division.

 

 

ENTRY FEES:

 

VGT MEMBERS: $160+GST ($168.00) 

NON-MEMBERS: $200+GST ($210.00)

 

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:

  • An 18-Hole 2-person best ball team tournament
  • $100 allocated to prizing per team
  • A commemorative tee-gift ($50)
  • A $20 gift card for Meadow Gardens kiosk or clubhouse
  • Driving range warm-up
  • Winners flags for GROSS & NET Division wining teams

 

PRIZING

 

Top 25% of each division wins gift card prizing!!

 

Based on Full Field of 25 teams per division, the Top 7 teams per division (Open & Net)

will win a share of $5,000 in prizing via VGT gift cards. Distribution as follows:

 

1st Place Team: $750 ($375/player)

2nd Place Team: $500 ($250/player)

3rd Place Team: $450 ($225/player)

4th Place Team: $300 ($150/player)

5th Place Team: $250 ($125/player)

6th Place Team: $150 ($75/player)

7th Place Team: $100 ($50/player)

 

Gift Cards can be cashed in at any time by shopping on our online store at www.myvgt.com.  Players have until October 30, 2024 to cash in their VGT GIFT CARDS if they wish to bundle them up for larger purchases thru the season!

MALES IN GROSS DIVISION: Approx. 6,500 yards. FEMALE IN GROSS DIVISION: Approx. 5,600 yards. MALES IN NET DIVISION: Approx. 6,000 yards.  FEMALES IN NET DIVISION: Approximately 5,300 yards

SENIORS IN ALL DIVISIONS: Approximately 6,000 yards
