REGISTRATION DATES

Friday, March 15th: Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. *All exempt teams will be granted entry and charged within three (3) business days of entry.

Sunday, March 31st: Exemption priority ends at 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 3rd: Remaining event spots will be granted to non-exempt teams based on the order their entry was received. All non-exempt teams will be notified of their event status on April 3rd. *Non-exempt teams who gain entry will be charged on this date.

You will need the following information for both you and your team members when you register:

ADDITIONAL DATES

Tuesday, April 16th: The professional (and team) of any incomplete team will be placed at the top of the waitlist and be replaced in the field with the highest professional on the wait list having a full team.

Wednesday, April 24th: Professionals may ask WWCPGA Executive Director for one player to help fill his team.

Tuesday, April 30th: Entry Deadline. Cancellations after the entry deadline are subject to the full entry fee if the team spot is not filled.

Tuesday, May 7th: Event rate deadline for 7 Cedars Hotel & Casino.

Tuesday, May 21st: Starting times to be emailed and available at wwcpga.com.

Friday, May 24th: Player handicaps locked.

Monday, May 27th: Practice round day – please schedule with the Pro Shop.

Tuesday, May 28th: All players must have reached their 50th birthday.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY – There is NO cut, all players play all three days.

TEAM ENTRY FEE

$1,200.00 ($300.00 per person) and includes the Team Game Skins.  Cancellations after the entry deadline may be subject to the full entry fee if the team spot is not filled.

COMPETITION

The championship consists of 54 holes of stroke play, with gross and net payouts for professionals, super senior professionals (60+), and four age divisions of amateurs. There is a concurrent 36-hole pro-am team competition, using one gross ball and one net ball at 90% handicap. Payouts are weighted toward the gross prizes.

Amateurs are limited to winnings of $1,000, including skins, for the entire championship.

ELIGIBLE PLAYERS

The term “eligible player” is defined, for this Championship, as: (1) all Pacific Northwest Section, PGA of America members (except those classified as “F” or “Reserved”); (2) all PNW Section, PGA of America associates with full Section Playing Privileges; (3) amateurs as defined by the USGA with a recognized USGA or BCGA handicap index. All players must reach their 50th birthday on or before May 28, 2024. Contestants entering as amateurs may not accept professional prize money. Section 5 of the PNW PGA Tournament Regulations applies.

*There is no handicap limit for amateurs, but a maximum index of 24.0 will be allowed for the competition for those players exceeding this index. Players’ handicaps will be determined using their handicap index from May 24th.

ENTRY PRIORITY

Maximum Field – 56 teams.

EXEMPT

Exemption priority ends at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31st. Exempt entries will be granted spots and charged within three (3) business days of receipt of entry. Exempt players identified in Section 9 of the PNW Tournament Regulations can be found under the “Exemption List” tab on the event website.

NON-EXEMPT

Non-exempt entries will be placed on the waitlist by entry order. All non-exempt teams will be notified of their event status on April 3rd. Those that gain entry will be charged on this date.

STARTING TIMES

Starting times will be emailed and available on the WWC website on Tuesday, May 21st. Competitors are responsible for knowing their starting time and tee. Wave requests will be granted by entry order (Exemptions do not apply). The tee time waves are 7:30-9:30 & 12:30-2:30.

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Monday, May 27 - $55 Green Fee. Please call The Cedars at Dungeness Pro Shop to reserve your tee time at (360) 683-6344.

GOLF CARTS

The Cedars at Dungeness has an ample supply of carts for the event. Carts will be $40 per day ($25 for single rider). Reserve your carts at registration. Players will pay for golf carts through the pro shop at the event.

LODGING

Tournament sponsor, the 7 Cedars Hotel & Casino, has rooms available for participants at a promotional rate of $179/night for a single king or double queen. The special rate link will be emailed out when the team entry is accepted.

WAITING LIST AND FILLING OPEN SPOTS ON TEAMS

Entry shall be for the entire team, and at registration all team members and player information must be complete to secure a registration number. The following rules for teams losing players after registration (incomplete teams) are adopted for 2024:

  1. Beginning May 1st, the professional (and team) of any incomplete team will be placed at the top of the wait list and be replaced in the field with the highest professional on the wait list having a full team.
  2. Three weeks (May 7) prior to the start of the tournament, the professional may ask the WWC Executive Director for one player to help fill his team. The Director will assign the highest ranking professional on the waiting list who chooses to abandon his/her own team to join the team needing a player. If there are no professionals waiting to play, or none who choose to abandon their team, the highest priority amateur (on a first to call-in basis) on the wait list will be assigned. The Director will only provide one player for any team.
  3. Notwithstanding the above rules, the Director may assign a waiting list professional or amateur to any team that loses a player within the week prior to the tournament.
  4. No professional may be added to a team more than once every four years. No professional shall add a professional to his team more than once every four years. No team shall have, under any circumstance, more than two professionals among its players.

DRESS CODE

All contestants may not wear jeans. Professionals and Amateurs may wear shorts.

NON-METAL SPIKES

It is a condition of the competition that metal spikes are prohibited. Traction systems using any form of metal spikes will be prohibited. Penalty for Breach - Disqualification.

HUDSON CUP POINTS

The appropriate Senior Hudson Cup points will be granted by the Section, OGA, and WSGA for this event.

SEPARATE TEE POLICY

Although competing from separate tees, men and women shall compete for the same purse.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The tournament application via online registration is subject to acceptance by the PNW Section, PGA of America, and the applicant agrees that in the event of its acceptance, it may be rejected or revoked at any time thereafter. To be accepted, entries must be signed, paid, and received at Tournament Headquarters. Therefore, players submitting entries are encouraged to allow ample time for delay or error in transmission of their entries.

Both the said Application and Applicant’s participation in the aforesaid Championship are subject to all Rules, Regulations, provisions of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Pacific Northwest Section, PGA of America, and other conditions applicable to the Championship, as well as to the terms and conditions of the agreement between the PNW Section, PGA of America, and the Championship sponsor(s) with respect to same.

By this application, an applicant consents to references to him and pictures of him and his play in any publicity, radio and television broadcasting and other exhibition or publication, including their use in any commercial manner.
