The NJG TOUR is test piloting 3 events this year with a Team format. This will be a 2 player best ball format.Grab a friend and sign up today!

 

- Teams MUST consists of 2 players from the same division

- Players playing in the team event cannot particiapte in the Individual Stroke Play event that will be going on at the same time.

-Players will receive the same amount of player points for the 2 person team event as they would for a regular season Tour event.

REGISTRATION: Registration will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. You are required to check in prior to your starting time.

 

PRACTICE AREAS: Practice areas will open one hour prior to the first starting time. 

 

CADDIES: All players must walk and carry their own bag or use a pull cart. Caddies are prohibited (spectators are allowed and encouraged).

 

RANGEFINDERS: The use of Distance Measuring Devices is permitted. Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect.

 

GOLF BALLS: Only brands of golf balls on the most current USGA List of Conforming Golf Balls may be used. The “One-Ball Rule” is not in effect.

 

STARTING TIMES: This event will have tee times starting at 8:00 am. Starting times can be obtained by clicking on the PAIRINGS tab on top of this page.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is prohibited during the round. Players shall walk at all times during the stipulated round unless otherwise specified by the Committee. Pull/push carts are  permitted.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Food & beverages will be available in the clubhouse

Cash and  credit cards accepted. No outside coolers, food or drink permitted.

 

AWARDS: An awards presentation will take place upon completion of play for each division. The top three finishers in each age division will receive recognition.

SCORING: 2-Person TEAM Event-Best Ball 

 

BEST BALL DEFINITION: Each golfer plays their own ball, with the lower score on each hole being counted. Only one of the pair is required to complete each hole. The winners are the team with the lowest aggregate score over a set number of holes.
