FORMAT
The 2024 NWGC Championship, hosted by The Edison Club in Rexford, is contested over two 18-hole rounds (36 holes) of individual stroke play. The following competitions are included in this year's championship:

 

  • #1 - Team: The team with the lowest 36 hole score will be the champion - with the low four of five scores to count for each round. Only teams with at least four players will be eligible for this competition.
  • #2 - Individual: The golfer with the lowest score after 36 holes will be the individual champion and NWGC Player of the Year.
  • #3 - Rookie of the Year: The golfer in her first year of intercollegiate play with the lowest score after 36 holes will be the NWGC Rookie of the Year.
  • #4 - Elite Academic Award: The golfer(s) with the highest GPA will receive the Elite Academic Award(s).

2023 CHAMPIONS
The Cortland Red Dragons captured their 4th straight NWGC title in 2023, with five of their golfers finishing in the top-10. Cortland's Amanda Gaffney took home medalist honors with rounds of 75 and 78 (+13). The 2023 NWGC Championship was held on April 22-23 at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Conn.
